AKSELI as told by PASI

”What can I say about Akseli? He showed up one day in the rehearsal room, or actually he was already there when I arrived. At first, I didn’t even notice the quiet, thin bloke who almost disappeared behind the mic-stand. He was ”the Quiet One” for a long time, probably because he didn’t want to participate in the haggling between me, Rami and Mikko! Obviously a sane man’s choice...

I was convinced of Akseli’s playing from the very beginning, especially of his technical skills. While recording the album, I also noticed that his talent goes beyond playing technique, as he had a bunch of great ideas for us in the studio. Particularly the solos he does have some incredibly catchy bits and pieces! He has proven himself as a true member of Dreamtale by putting up with all that picking and teasing that we (lovingly, of course) throw at him. Sometimes I think that the 19-year-old Akseli is the most mature member of this band... But, in time, that too shall be remedied!”
